SHABBAT SHALOM: Meet the Tactical Rabbi
Say hello to “The Tactical Rabbi”…unless you’re a would-be synagogue shooter. (Then say “oops.”)
Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO) seems to be among the few political advocacy groups that remembers the awful lessons of the 20th century: The way you’ll know you’re about to need your guns more than ever before is when the government starts asking how many you have and where you keep them. Rabbi Raziel Cohen, “The Tactical Rabbi,” is JPFO’s newest Ambassador. Raziel Cohen isn’t just an ordained Orthodox Rabbi; he’s also an NRA and DOJ firearms instructor approved by Homeland Security who leads NDF Training, which offers everything from basic fundamentals to active-shooter response courses.
If you’ve never heard of JPFO, here’s what you need to know about them:
Three primary goals drive the Washington-based human-rights group Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO):
Destroy so-called “gun control” (code words for disarming innocent people).
Expose the misguided notions that lead people to seek out so-called “gun control”.
Encourage Americans to understand and defend all of the Bill of Rights for all citizens. The Second Amendment is the “Guardian” of the Bill of Rights.
Well, all we have to say to that is…L’Chaim!
