Every generation, humanity needs to be reminded that guns save lives, and that society works better when we have a system of professional law enforcement. Every generation, some hellish amalgamation of starry-eyed idealists, grifters and thieves announces that all they want is peace and that it can only be achieved by trashing both of the above. And every generation, the very next thing to happen is a tremendous spike in murder, rape and robbery. Today’s example comes to us from King County, Washington, in the wake of 2020. The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA) hasn’t missed that connection, and neither have you. The facts, and their analysis, is below!

Authorities in Washington’s King County—epicenter of the Northwest’s gun prohibition movement—are alarmed at the continued rise in gun-related homicides and shooting incidents, but nowhere has anyone acknowledged that gun control laws they have supported are an utter failure, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said today.
“Nothing more clearly illustrates gun control lack of success than the situation in King County,” noted CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. “It is reflective of the national trend revealed in the FBI Uniform Crime Report for 2020, showing murders up by 30 percent nationwide. If restricting the gun rights of law-abiding citizens worked, this should not be the case.”
Gottlieb recited the recent failed history of the Seattle-based, and billionaire-backed gun control crusade beginning in 2014 with statewide Initiative 594, requiring so-called “universal background checks” for all gun transfers. This was followed in 2015 by Seattle’s adoption of a special gun control tax on the sale of firearms and ammunition, which has never achieved the revenue forecast of $300,000 to $500,000 annually, and has only driven business out of the city. In 2018, Seattle’s wealthy anti-gun elitists pushed through another statewide gun control initiative, again contending it would reduce gun-related violent crime, but the exact opposite has happened.
“Let’s look at the embarrassing data,” Gottlieb suggested. “According to the report, this year’s 73 gun-related homicides in King County so far have already surpassed last year’s total of 69, and there are still more than two months to go in 2021. Last year Seattle saw 52 murders, and the year before that there were 35. Seattle’s gun tax took effect in 2016, and that year the city reported just 19 murders.
“Statewide,” he continued, “gun control has likewise failed. In 2015, the first full year after I-594 was passed, the state reported 209 slayings, of which 141 involved firearms, according to FBI data. Last year, according to the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs, the state saw 302 murders, and their data shows 178 involving firearms. FBI data for 2019 shows 135 homicides involving firearms, so that’s quite a jump.
“Instead of using this data to push for even harsher laws,” Gottlieb said, “it is time for the gun prohibition lobby, not just in Washington but across the country, to admit their agenda has failed. It’s time to scrap extremist gun control laws and try something else like supporting our police and locking up violent criminals.”

Are the leftists that want to disarm you and me stupid or evil? So many of the things the left does makes them look stupid. However some like Nancy Poopalosi are just evil. They have their “bibles”: “Rules for Radicals” and “The Communist Manifesto” and blindly follow what is in the pages of those two books. Both books were written by men who didn’t want anything to do with work. It is however work to keep your lies straight and your message consistent. That is why the left seems like hypocrites so much of the time. The rest of the time they are just well, hypocrites. Look at everything going on in this country right now: inflation, energy prices, supply chain issues, illegal immigration, education issues, foreign policy and the Afghanistan fiasco. The Biden administration has been one disaster after another. If anyone still thinks that the democrat party is looking our for them needs to have their heads examined. They are all about power and control over our lives with us having no say in how we live unless of course when it comes to LGBTQ (or what ever the moniker is today) people then it’s okay if for instance you want to assault a girl in a school restroom. So long as it’s a male in girls clothes it’s allowed or so it would seem. We need to get rid of this insanity and the democrat party is certainly not the answer.

The liberals are supporting the criminals. Read your Machiavelli who wrote The Prince. This book is not a how-to, but a warning as to what to watch out for. In the book, he describes a means to take over a country by sending in a large number, possible thousands of violent criminals. Then when the citizens demand a clean-up, send in military troops and slaughter anyone who opposes you, including some or all of the criminals. You now have control of that country. There is a reason the book is banned throughout most of the world. The political elites do NOT want the common people knowing what to watch for which is why everyone should read it.
The same thing is happening in Portland Oregon. The mayor, along with Jo Ann Hardesty and the rest of the city council abolished the GVRT and defunded the police and now they can’t seem to figure out why there have been so many shootings and deaths in Portland. Nobody in their right mind goes into downtown Portland.
I think they know, and that’s why they are pushing for MORE gun control… Insidious, and worthy of a B rated and foul language and gratuitous sex video…
As a retired Chief of police I can say gun control only inhibits decent people from protecting themselves and their families. Criminals will get guns any time any where. You can describe gun laws as insanity. The gun ban crowd finds that there gun laws not only do not stop crime they cause crime to go up. Because of that they make more gun laws. The definition of insanity is: Keep do in the same thing over and over and get the same result.

What wrong with people it’s not the gun it’s the person behind the gun. The 2nd amendment gives is the right to bear arms of not why did fore father’s and men and women of our military fight so to give is that freedom and hold the constitution!! The liberals need to step back and look at what there are causing.

The leaders want all the unrest they can get, so you will ask the government to stop it at ANY COST.
But not the local police. The goal is a national police force that will sing whatever tune the Federal govnernment demands.
You are exactly correct about the pathway, however first it will be the National Guard, then it will be Federal, then it will be UN Russian and Chinese police.
