Los Angeles is having some crime problems lately. It seems that defunding the police while simultaneously deliberately releasing convicted murderers and gang members has resulted in a tremendous surge in crime–who could have guessed? The good news for those criminals is that they won’t be facing many armed defenders, given that California has some of the worst, most restrictive gun laws in the nation. The better news for those criminals is that the Los Angeles Police Department has specifically instructed the city’s citizens to comply with whatever the criminal demands. LAPD TO LOS ANGELENOS: ‘JUST BE A VICTIM.’
Los Angeles residents are living through a nightmare scenario. The local district attorney announced he’s releasing a 24-year-old convicted murderer after serving only six years of a 50-year sentence. Police are, at the same time, telling everyone, including would-be criminals, that they’re unable to quickly respond to calls for help and that crime victims should just “cooperate and comply” with the perpetrators.
That’s on top of the fact that California has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, all obstacles to law-abiding citizens wanting to buy a firearm for protection.
The Los Angeles Police Department tweeted a warning that they’re in the midst of a surging crime wave, including increased so-called “follow-home” burglaries. That’s where a criminal watches their victim leave a store, follows them home then robs them. The paltry warning is frustrating for sure, but after caving to “defund the police” activists last year, the L.A. City Council voted 12-2 to cut $150 million from this year’s police budget. That’s left law enforcement reduced and resulting to public safety by press release.
“Due to an increase in violent street robberies, Robbery-Homicide Division has become aware of an ongoing crime trend of follow-home robberies,” an LAPD press release read. “If you are being robbed, do not resist the robbery suspects; cooperate and comply with their demands. Be a good witness.”
The release includes six more suggestions from LAPD for potential victims. All suggest the victims play nice with perpetrators or to change their behaviors while saying nothing about holding criminals to account.
Revolving Door
The LAPD’s “cooperate and comply” release came on the heels of a separate recent announcement from Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon that has citizens fuming mad. Gascon used a “legal technicality” that will lead to the release of Andrew Cachu, a convicted murderer and documented gang member who was previously sentenced to 50 years in prison. This wasn’t a first-time surprise either. Immediately after Gascon took office as the new L.A. district attorney, he announced sweeping sentencing reforms that reduced the criminals’ sentences and infuriated the families of the victims of those violent crimes. Gascon’s campaign, it is worth noting, was funded by antigun billionaire George Soros.
“He’s running a social experiment that is dangerous for all of us because his whole goal is to release all these criminals out there in the street, and somehow they’re magically going to behave,” said Samuel Dordulian, an attorney representing several victims’ families.
The combination of lax sentencing reforms by DA Gascon that have led to violent criminals being released early and the LAPD telling crime victims to take it has Californians rightly worried about their safety and how to better protect themselves, since California seems to prefer decriminalizing crime and making it a crime to defend oneself.
Criminalizing Rights
California is among the strictest states when it comes to gun control. The state has imposed universal background checks on potential gun buyers since the 1990s, as well as bans on Modern Sporting Rifles (MSRs), the most popular selling semiautomatic rifle in America. They have a 10-day waiting period and limits on the number of firearms a law-abiding Californian can purchase per month regardless of passing the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) check. The state has gun registration requirements, so-called “red flag” laws and bans on standard capacity magazines. California even has background checks on ammunition purchases.
On top of all those restrictions on their Constitutional rights, California is one of only a handful of “may issue” states where government bureaucrats get to decide whether an applicant has “good cause” to obtain a concealed carry permit, a system that is ripe for corruption.
Not every Californian is letting gun control politicians sway them from exercising Second Amendment rights. In 2019, 1.2 million Californians passed a NICS check to purchase a firearm. In 2020, that number jumped to 1.6 million, a sizeable percentage increase that matched the national trend of historic firearm sales. Already in 2021 more than 1.2 million Californians have passed a NICS check to buy a gun with two months to go before the end of the year.
Nikki Duncan, an African-American woman, described why the crime climate in California prompted her to purchase a firearm.
“We all want to be safe and if this is the way that you’re able to ensure your safety, you should definitely do it,” Duncan said, encouraging her friends to consider purchasing a firearm as well.
California can’t have it both ways. The easy-on-crime, tough-on-rights message is no longer in the shadows. It’s literally being spread on social media by law enforcement.
So in crazyfornia, if some criminal tries to mug or rob you, just be a good sheeple and give the criminal whatever they want and maybe, just maybe they won’t beat the hell out of you, stab you, or rape you or murder you. Then if the person is still alive, they can go to the police Dept and file a report.
Just wanted his past weekend, in San franshithole, there has been “flash mob” shoplifting of department stores. About 25 cars full of Robbers and shoplifter’s armed with crowbars and sledgehammer going into the department stores and taking whatever they want.
In crazyfornia, they have shown on TV, shoplifter’s walking by into retail clothing stores and grabbing arm fulls of clothes off the racks and walk out to a waiting car and drive off. No one does anything to stop them. They just film it on their cell phones.
If the shoplifter’s are ever caught, they are not charged with any crime and are let go because they are. “poor”
In commiefornia, they have over 800 “gun laws” on the books. But their far leftist power crazed politicians yell “we need more gun laws to stop crime”, well what about the laws on the books now? How come they haven’t stopped crime? Criminals could care less about what laws politicians pass, that’s why they are criminals.. These laws affect the law abiding citizens.
Maybe if these demoncrap run cities would stop listening to a bunch of loud mouth criminals, rioters, looters, protesters, and arsonist and stopped trying to defund-abolish the police and let the police go out and arrest these criminals and put them in prison for long sentences then the crime rate would go down. It’s as simple as that.
Many demoncrap run cities have a “no bail required” and let criminals back onto the streets to commit even more crimes. Some demoncrap run cities have a $1.00 bail for people who murder and release them to commit even more murders.
In Haiti, warlords and their soldiers armed with AK 47’s,. control the docks and warehouse’s and demand extortion money before any goods can be moved. Now these same people are joining “migrant caravans” and coming to the USA to rob, rape ,and murder Americans. And the administration welcomes them.
The Border Patrol has no more room for all of the illegals coming up from Central America and Haiti and they are putting them on busses and planes and sending them off to major cities and the crime rate goes up and so does the CV rate, measles, small pox, tuberculosis and polio, but the nightly news media says nothing about that.
Many of the demoncrap run cities welcome illegals and give them homes, money, cars and jobs. Meanwhile, our homeless veterans are living on the streets in cardboard boxes and they could care less.
The administration is having sections of the border wall taken down and sold off, so more cartel members, drug dealers, M 13 gang members, terrorists, spies and prostitutes can cross the border. The administration welcomes them. too.
Many Americans are being evicted from their apartments and homes and the government is going to give the apartment and homes to the illegals.
Over two million illegals have crossed over the border into the USA this year. Some articles say as many as 5 or 10 million could come here in 2022.
The USA can not become the dumping ground for all the world’s poor and criminals. Do we want the USA to end up like India with over a billion people living on the streets, sidewalks, alleys, and eating garbage out of dumpsters to survive? Finish the border wall now!
The Central America and South America countries are emptying out their prisons and jails and are sending 10’s of thousands of convicts and prisoners to the USA and the administration welcomes them.
Most of these gun banning groups are run and funded by Micheal Bloomberg, George Soros, the Chinese government, the U.N.,. Russia, North Korea and Mexico. Remember that foreign governments cannot take over a country if it’s citizens own firearms.
Why is it that back in the 1950’s, one could walk into a hardware store, gun shop or mail order all kinds of firearms with no background checks or waiting period and crime was much lower than today.
Some demoncrap run cities have so called “gun buy backs” and will show piles of firearms. The police are there with surveillance vans taking photos and videos of people turning in their guns. They also have under cover police wearing disguises posing as people turning in their guns, ( which were confiscated from crimes) to make the “gun buy back” look more effective. If people don’t want their guns, they can take them to a gun shop and sell them .
Banning guns is not about stopping crime, it the way of the evil, power crazed politicians to enslave Americans. ” You will obey us, we are your gods, you will get down on your knees and bow before us or we will put you into the cattle cars to be sent to concentrate extermination camps”.
The gun banning groups are joining up with the hunting banning groups to ban hunting. They figure if the can ban hunting, then why do people need “hunting guns”? See how they work?
Protect and support your right to keep and own all types of firearms and accessories. Don’t allow the evil, far leftist power crazed politicians to restrict and ban firearms and accessories.
Buy more guns, ammo and accessories now before it’s too late!
Also buy more training. To teach you how to use your firearms more proficiently & safely.
Also consider taking classes in unarmed self defense, such as Aikido, or Jiu Jitsu. Also drivers training, such as using your vehicle as a weapon, or how to safely use pepper spray, taser, to defend yourself in case you don’t like firearms.
Since were almost into the holiday shopping season its imperative you maintain situational awareness to keep yourself & your family from becoming a victim or worse dead!!!!
There are laser type targeting/shooting systems such as I Target.Pro which allows you to practice shooting in your home safely. Its like laser tag for firearms.
There is also insurance available in case you do shoot someone while carrying concealed or if you shoot someone while protecting your home. I use USCCA, but there are two other company’s that I know of that offer similar products.
Stay safe and Train often.
I just read that Denver and Aurora in commie- Rado will stage “gun buy backs” in 2022.
Their city council rulers have said too much violence from street gangs and drug gangs so they want to take guns off the streets.
Their logic is, if law abiding citizens don’t own or have firearms in their homes, then criminals won’t be able to break into their homes and steal them. What!? What kind of logic is that? So now the politiicians blame law abiding citizens for criminals getting guns. Blame the victim, not the criminals.
So does that also mean the citizens should not have TV’s, computers, stereo’s, jewelry, paintings in their homes because some criminal will break into their house and steal them so they can trade them off for drugs?
And aren’t drugs illegal? How come they are so available in the Denver area and in Denver schools?
Using this politicians logic then why not have a “car buy back” to stop the over 50,000 car deaths every year.
Instead of kissing criminals ass and having a “no bail required” and letting criminals released to commit more crimes, put them in jail for long sentences. and crime will go down. It’s that simple. If they are locked up then they cannot commit more crimes.
And at these city sponsored gun confiscation sites, the police will put guns seized in crimes on the tables to make the “gun buy backs” look really effective..
They also have police surveillance vans watching these events, taking photos and videos of everyone who shows up, and photos of their cars and license plates, so they can make fiiles on people.
If people don’t want their guns they can take them to a gun store and sell them, and make more more money than a $50.00 gift card to purchase some tennis shoes.
Sometimes you wonder if these politiicians have “criminals” that are their relatives and that’s why they are soft on crime
The gun banning groups consider any shooting within 5 miles of a school as a school shooting. Doesn’t matter if it’s bank robbers or someone robbing a convenient store they will still say “a school shooting”.
Protect and support your “Right” to keep and own all types of firearms, ammo, and accessories. Don’t let these evil, far leftist power crazed politicians to restrict and ban firearms and accessories.
Here in N.E. Ohio, gunfire is a regular thing. We call it, “The sound of freedom.” And here in the rural lands, crime is very sparse…mostly due to That Sound. So maybe the Kalifornians could use that as a guide.
When will the people in places like L.A. and California pull there heads out of their asses and realize that the democrat party doesn’t give a damn about them? They have been putting democrats in positions of power for a long time and what have they got for it? Crime, crime and more crime. This stuff isn’t an accident. They are purposely making life in the democrat ran areas terrible as they want population control and submission from their subjects. Wake up people the democrat party has only their own interests at heart and you aren’t one of their interests.

As a California native these are just a few reasons my family left California and I moved to the great state of TX. The people in charge of CA and other states are trying to deprive the people of their rights and freedoms to prevent big government power grab and abuse of the masses.
This is our country, our God given rights and freedoms and our guns. The first step before a tyrant takes power is gun confiscation, contol over the media and essential good rationing, aka inflation…sound familiar?

I live in Kansas and in my county the majority of people carry and Law Enforcement encourages it. We dont have many “follow home” robberies.
