Hysterical Hoplophobes Host Hogg for Secret Fundraiser (Don’t Tell Anyone!)

SHHH! Seattle Democrats’ precious prize piggie is coming to town on May 5, 2024!

Washington State Democrats are in a bit of a tight spot. Their anti-gun, anti-police machinations have resulted in skyrocketing crime and spiraling inner cities, and their constituents have noticed. They’re hoping to fill their war chests before the 2024 elections, and that means fundraising. It seems that they couldn’t get Alyssa Milano to MC, so they went with the next-best thing: David Hogg! All that pure, incandescent star power is on tap to unite the anti-gun faithful and open their wallets. So, naturally, they need to keep his upcoming appearance in Seattle on May 5 a secret.

Why? Well, they’re not saying, but we’re guessing that they don’t want Hogg to be inundated with fans who want him to sign a commemorative pillow. He doesn’t have time to take pictures with all those Canadians he’s invited to vote in American elections. And although he loves his fans, it does get a little tiring for him to repeat his catchphrase with them over and over again at his fundraisers, like the one that’s happening on May 5 in Seattle.

Here’s the catchphrase: “At this point its like when your old-a** parent is like, ‘I don’t know how to send an iMessage’ and you’re like, ‘Ok give me the f***ing phone’ and you take it and you get it done in one second. Sadly, that’s what we have to do with our government because our parents don’t know how to use a f***ing democracy so we have to do it.” How astute! No wonder the Washington State Democrats want to keep Hogg’s Seattle May 5, 2024 fundraiser appearance on the down-low (ahem) … political commentary like Hogg’s can only be properly savored by the elite.

Washington State Democrats are dropping any pretenses about their disdain for the gun rights of Evergreen State citizens by hosting gun ban advocate David Hogg at a May 5 Seattle fund raiser, at a location they are unwilling to publicly reveal, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms noted.

“They are obviously fearful of protest by Second Amendment activists so they’re keeping the location secret,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. “Democrats are co-hosting this event with the Seattle-based Alliance for Gun Responsibility, the billionaire-backed gun prohibition lobbying group. Naturally, they are asking for donations ranging from $100 to $5,000.”

The announcement came from Shasti Conrad, chair of the Washington State Democrats. They identify Hogg as a “nationwide leader in gun safety advocacy” when all he has promoted is restrictive gun control.

“How much money from this event will go to anti-gun Attorney General Bob Ferguson’s campaign to be the next governor,” Gottlieb wondered. “How much will help fund state legislative campaigns for anti-gunners? Will any of this money be used to promote laws to lock up violent criminals?

“In her message,” he observed, “Conrad acknowledges that gun control is ‘a key issue for Democrats in 2024.’ They claim Washington is a ‘nationwide leader’ in gun control efforts, so maybe the Democrats will explain why the number of homicides in Washington has doubled over the past ten years, and tripled during the same period in Seattle, when all of these new gun laws were promoted as ways to reduce violent crime.

“From any rational perspective,” Gottlieb said, “that is a record of absolute failure. Washington Democrats are self-delusional to argue that gun control has been a success, unless they think disarming honest citizens, while the body count rises, is some kind of moral victory. Evidently moral victories are more important to anti-gun Washington Democrats than locking up criminals and saving lives.”
