Biden Tweets Attack On American Gun Owners, NRA

Nobodys trying to take my guns away huh Joe

Let’s see what kind of Second Amendment “discourse” Twitter does think is okay, shall we?

Over the last few days, hundreds of thousands of gun owners and gun manufacturers have discovered that Big Tech has kicked them and their inconvenient opinions off the Web. We here at Freedom’s Lodge, along with Guns & Gadgets Daily, Current Homesteading, Popular EDC, and Popular Outdoorsman, are still here. We pledge to continue bringing you the best and most important news about the Second Amendment, gun laws, gun rights, guns, and gear…and we urge you to sign up for our newsletters by clicking on the links in this sentence. At the top of each page is a box where you can enter your e-mail address. That way, you can keep getting this news delivered to your inbox even if we get de-listed. (You may have to check your “spam” folder, since we have noticed that many of our e-mails get “mysteriously” moved there by our readers’ Internet service providers.)

On to today’s Second Amendment news! It’s also First Amendment news, interestingly enough, because it involves the President-Elect’s ideas about what to do with a 150-year-old civil-rights organization: the NRA. After having listened to about 18 months’ worth of Biden supporters telling us that Biden doesn’t want to take our guns away, we have the above Tweet from Biden to clear the air. The NRA hasn’t responded to the above Tweet–most likely because as far as they are concerned, that’s old news–but the Second Amendment Foundation has. Here’s what they sent us:

Joe Biden’s Twitter message to former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords may read like a threat against one gun rights organization, but it is really an attack on every gun owner in the nation, the Second Amendment Foundation said today.

Biden pledged to work with Giffords on her extremist gun control agenda, and promised to “defeat the NRA,” in the process, but SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb said that’s just cover for a bigger goal.

“Joe Biden has labored relentlessly for decades to reduce the Second Amendment to rubble,” Gottlieb stated. “He may attack one group by name, but his goal is to crush the rights of every gun owner in our country.

“By attacking the Second Amendment Rights of 100 million Americans,” Gottlieb continued, “Biden is not bringing us together but dividing us further. If people take to the streets in protest, if violence occurs it will be his fault and he should be impeached for violating our constitutional rights and inciting violence. Maybe it is time to ban him from Twitter and Facebook!”

This week SAF is launching its new major advertising effort to recruit tens of thousands of gun owners into the 2nd Amendment First Responder program. SAF is running a one-minute message 40 times this week, on several national networks, to educate millions of law-abiding gun owners about the gun rights battle. This message will appear on DirecTV, Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, MSNBC, The Weather Channel, One America News Network, CNBC, HLN, Bloomberg and Dish TV.

This hard-hitting ad urges gun owners and viewers concerned about the civil right to bear arms to join the fight by texting ‘PROTECT 2A’ to ‘474747’. By texting, people can support SAF’s educational and legal action programs to protect their rights.

“Joe Biden isn’t fooling anybody,” Gottlieb observed. “He spent 47 years on Capitol Hill trying to turn the right to keep and bear arms into a regulated privilege. Now that he’s headed to the White House, he thinks he will be able to complete his mission. We’re working to swell the ranks of our 2nd Amendment First Responder project to stop him.”

“We didn’t start the fire, Biden did,” he said.

  1. I’m getting too old for this stuff. I”m still a fairly good shot, though. Since I can’t run, I’ll just have to stay here and fight. So come for them. I’m tired of all this rigamarole.

  2. We need to ask Jobama (aka Biden)……..come on man, how does taking guns away from law-abiding citizens eliminate gun violence?

  3. Time to castrate all men to end the rape of our women and children.

    Same logic as anti-gunners have.

    1. Please don’t say that, they might just do it……..and as with guns the rapists will be put on the honor system while the rest of us have our “junk drawers” cleaned out.

  4. He should make murder, looting, and burning other people’s property illegal first.
    Oh wait.

  5. The stupid NRA has blocked or tried to block even the simplest of requests like universal background checks. The left responds with take their guns and the right responds with no restricts, no way. Meet in the middle stupids. And while the NRA had it’s moment, it has gone the way of most unions and no longer servers a meaningful purpose.

    1. The ONLY WAY I would go along with universal background checks is if there are no serial numbers involved. Either a go or no answer to make the exchange. If you think it is not the precursor to confiscation you are the one that is irrelevant.

    2. Sorry, my God given rights are not up for negotiation. The Bill of Rights restricts GOVERNMENT, not the citizens. Nice try; no cigar.

      1. Owning guns wasn’t one of the Ten Commandments, so no it isn’t a “God” given right. It’s a U.S. Constitution right but with limits.

        1. Luke it is my God given right to be able to protect me and my family. People like you are part of the problem not the solution !!!!

          1. I agree it is a God given right to self defense. But even if you are not religious, it is still a natural right. Clark is very correct in stating that the “Bill of Rights” restricts the government, not the people. But I have no more faith in people, most I meet are sheep and will follow whatever mindless tv/movie personality or career politician without using any logic whatsoever.

    3. “Meeting in the middle” usually means that each side gets something that they want. Anti-gunners want to restrict our gun rights. What, exactly, do gun owners have to gain by “meeting in the middle”? That we get slightly less restriction of our rights? You think that “the middle” is a little bit of infringement instead of a whole lot of infringement and that’s a gain for gun owners? GTFO with that garbage. Promising just the tip instead of full on rape is not a compromise.

  6. With the far radical left now in control of the government, obvious voter fraud , our leader President Trump is gone, Big tech., fake news media, Supreme Court , none did anything to help with fair election. They are all corrupt . They teach our children that socialism is good and America is bad. Where are all good conservatives going to get justus ? What do we do now? Democrat communist are now in control.. I fear for our nation.

    1. You probably feared the bogeyman too when you were a child, you delusional psychopath. Not all Democrats are bad and are anti-gun, just like not all Republicans are good and love guns. You should blame Trump for going out of his way to chase many Republicans away from voting for him. He is too extreme!

  7. Wonder how many of those communist networks will actually allow ANY gun-friendly commercial? We ARE speaking of that bastion of truth in advertising, ‘social media’, yes? Through my subscription to “Popular Outdoorsman” I wish the best of luck to Dr. Gottlieb, I’ll do my best to do my part!
