Second Amendment Summer: U.S. LawShield Coming to a City Near You
Want to learn more about the rules of self-defense where you live?
As recent headlines have made clear, the laws about when and how it’s legal to employ lethal force in self defense can be confusing. There are federal laws related to gun ownership as well as state laws that differ–often wildly–in their definitions of what is and is not acceptable in the eyes of the law. This summer, U.S. LawShield is taking the answers to you in a nationwide series of “Summer Freedom Celebrations,” to be held in cities across America from early June through the end of August 2022.
Because regulations are different regionally, every Summer Freedom Celebration features local IPAs and authorities who can answer questions and educate folks about local requirements and responsible gun ownership. But it’s more than just a mobile classroom. Each Summer Freedom Celebration is also filled with family-friendly activities and fun festivities for people of all ages, including food, refreshments, music and entertainment, and games with trivia and prizes.
“We are excited to connect with folks from all over the U.S. as we join in celebrating our unique heritage and honor our forefathers’ vision of freedom for future generations,” stated U.S. LawShield CEO P.J. Hermosa. “Encouraging our members, their families, and friends to enjoy togetherness is especially important this summer.”
The first two events took place over the weekend in South Carolina and Nebraska, where experienced U.S. LawShield Independent Program Attorneys (IPAs), officials, VIPs, and guest speakers informed visitors and answered questions. “Because regulations are different regionally, every Summer Freedom Celebration features local IPAs and authorities who can answer questions and educate folks about local requirements and responsible gun ownership,” he said.
