Congratulations! You’re Paying Everytown’s Salaries Now

Have you ever asked yourself why Biden doesn’t just set up a workstation for David Hogg under his desk? So has Biden!

And the answer he came up with is, “Because Hogg’s hair smells awful. But why not just put Everytown for Gun Safety on the payroll?” That’s right; Biden has finally made good on the promises he made to the gun grabbers by simply making them government employees. Yesterday, President Pampers announced the creation of a new “Office of Gun Violence Prevention.” This office will be headed by ‘Community Justice Action Fund’s’ Greg Jackson and ‘Everytown for Gun Safety’s’ Rob Wilcox, for that extra seal of impartiality and bipartisan compromise that we’ve come to expect from the Biden administration. It’s appalling; it’s un-American; and it deserves to suffer the same fate as Biden’s “Disinformation Governance Board.” We’re turning it over to the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms for more commentary!

The announcement that President Joe Biden will launch a White House “Office of Gun Violence Prevention” led by gun control proponents brought a scathing reaction from the head of one of the nation’s top grassroots gun rights organizations.

Alan Gottlieb, chairman of the 650,000-member Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, was quick to respond.

“I am appalled that Joe Biden is putting the gun prohibition lobby on the White House payroll,” Gottlieb said. “I know that many pro-gun rights members of Congress are working on legislation to prohibit funding for this obnoxious scheme.

“I wonder,” he mused, “how much of their time will be spent keeping guns out of Hunter Biden’s hands now that he has been indicted on gun charges?”

Gottlieb will be hosting this weekend’s 38th annual Gun Rights Policy Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. The event begins on Friday, ironically the same day President Biden is expected to announce this new gun control office. Reports in the national media say the effort will involve White House Staff Secretary Stefanie Feldman, who is described as “a longtime Biden aide with expertise on firearms issues.” Also reportedly on board are other gun control proponents including Greg Jackson, executive director of the Community Justice Action Fund, and Rob Wilcox, senior director for federal government affairs at Everytown for Gun Safety, according to a story in the Washington Post.

The Gun Rights Conference is co-sponsored by the Citizens Committee and the Second Amendment Foundation. It is typically attended by hundreds of grassroots gun rights activists from across the country, and also by many of the nation’s leading Second Amendment advocates.

Gottlieb noted the ironic timing of Biden’s upcoming announcement.

“As if we don’t already have a full agenda thanks to his anti-gun-rights policies,” Gottlieb quipped, “Joe Biden is definitely giving us something else to discuss this weekend.”

  1. Well the way i look at it is that Hunter Biden just proved to USA citizens that no matter what anyone can go buy a gun anywhere anytime without due recourse. Oh wait a minuete do we have sign as Biden or is there a list of other names we can use. Hey maybe if i am illegal the FBI or DOJ would just give me what ever gun i wanted along with anything i want because i as an illegal citizen of the great USA. I love this country.

  2. Someone I know pointed out how the founding fathers said that there should be a revolution every 150 years. We are long overdue.

  3. Like my t-shirt says “In 1775 they tried to take our guns, We shot them” the same should apply today. While the 2nd amendment doesn’t say it’s OK to shoot government officials who try to take your firearms it must be inferred as what else would the right to keep and bear arms mean?

  4. So what is next – a Knife Violence Prevention Office, or maybe the Office of Hands/Feet Violence Prevention. or maybe tire irons and/or bats. Many (most?) of us understand that violence is a people issue but what the heck, let’s not look at that aspect of the ‘violence’ problem. Instead tptb prefer to demonize one specific category of inanimate objects. It is ‘almost’ as if violence by any means other than evil guns doesn’t count.

  5. Gun violence prevention? It’s called prison. Start locking these people up, and eventually the violence will stop. Criminals have no fear, so the perpetual circle of violence continues.
