The anti-gunners are chortling in glee at their “clever” little loophole in the Second Amendment.

All over America, the nation’s courts are striking down unconstitutional firearm laws; as a consequence, anti-gunners have finally gotten around to reading the text of the 2A. Squinting their piggy little eyes, they began grunting in delight when they realized that the critical clause of the Second Amendment only says “keep and bear” arms. Nowhere does it say “buy.” So why not just start pressuring banks to either monitor and report gun sales, or (better still) simply deny credit to anyone involved in the business? Ooh, so clever!

Help Prevent Financial Discrimination Against Firearm Ownership

H.R. 2743, called the Fair Access to Banking Act, amends the law to prohibit large banks, credit unions and card payment processors from refusing services based on any reason other than objective-based risk management.

No longer will they be able to discriminate against gun owners and manufacturers without real, objective, fact-based financial risk reasons.

Not only does it implement punitive measures against violators but permits citizens harmed by their illegal discrimination to file civil suits against the offending institution(s).
